I was born in Germany and raised bilingual. My mother tongue is German, and I speak English fluently.
After passing the general university entrance qualification, I attended a foreign language school in Hamburg.

I gained over 20 years of international experience in smoke extraction, fire prevention, and air diffusion in a manufacturing company in Germany. I translated technical documents in the context of European standardization.
I have been a freelance translator since 2011. In 2012, I founded Green Heron Translations LLC in Venice, Florida.
My focus areas are tourism, engineering, business, and IT.
